Maria Marin is an author, radio host, a national newspaper columnist and an international motivational speaker. She is considered one of the leading motivational trainers on the subject of "Personal Empowerment" and "The Art of Negotiation". Maria Marín is internationally known as an expert in the "Art of Negotiation". Her wealth of knowledge in this field has led her to become the only Latina that teaches negotiation worldwide. She has trained thousands how to sharpen their negotiating skills, including Fortune 500 companies in the U.S., major corporations in Latin America and women organizations around the world.

She is the author of the self-help books Secrets of a Confident Women and most recently Mujer Sin Límite (Women Without Limits) where she inspires women to believe in themselves and instill women with the self-confidence and the drive to succeed in every aspect of their lives. Mujer Sin Límite has been on the Spanish Non-Fiction Top 10 Best Seller for 6 consecutive months (June - November 2008).

Maria Marín is a national newspaper columnist, who writes on personal growth topics for women. Her column "Mujer Sin Límite" (Women Without Limits) is published weekly in the top markets throughout the U.S. & Puerto Rico. She also writes a monthly column for People Magazine en Español. She has appeared weekly in the TV program "Despierta América" as the motivational expert of the show.

Maria Marín is a model of inspiration. After losing her mother at the age of eight, the loneliness she felt drove her to find refuge in food, causing her to become overweight. By the age of fifteen, she faced a new battle when she discovered that she had diabetes and would have to depend on insulin injections for the rest of her life. "All of my experiences as a youth helped me to understand that no matter what adversities you face, you can achieve your dreams," said Maria, who is currently the spokesperson to the Latino community for the American Diabetes Association. She finds great satisfaction in educating and helping others who are diagnosed with this disease.

Whether she is presenting "Negotiating Training" seminar to a corporation or a keynote to a women's organization on "The Power of Commitment & Self-Confidence", her knowledge, inspiration and compelling messages have changed people lives forever.
